JyO was thoroughly engaged in the exchange of diverse cultures and forms of performance during her three years at Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI). She grew as a contemporary actor/performer in a place where both the participants and the teachers came from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Even if they were unfamiliar with the culture, each student regarded everyone with equal importance and respect. Personally, she practised openness in both presenting and receiving diverse cultural performance forms.
